MaineDOT will begin the Environmental Impact Statement process for the Machias Dike Bridge project after completing the Upper Machias Bay Master Plan. The review will evaluate all alternatives, include public input and focus on long-term solutions. The upgraded interim bridge is open and expected to finish by June 2026.
