Skanska and California Engineering Contractors won a $534 million contract to modernize the Vincent Thomas Bridge in Los Angeles. The three-year project includes deck replacement with durable precast concrete panels, advanced monitoring technology and improved safety features. Work begins spring 2026 and aims to reopen the bridge by early 2028.
