Security Paving Co. is completing a $23.2 million rehabilitation of 1 mi. of Interstate 5 in Burbank and Los Angeles with five 55-hour weekend closures. The project uses advanced planning and Cat equipment to replace concrete pavement, improve safety and ride quality and meet Caltrans’ 40-year design lifespan goals while maximizing productivity and safety.
