Construction began June 2, 2026, on Wyoming Downs, an $80 million horse betting and gaming facility in Laramie County. The 58,000-sq.-ft. venue will feature more than 600 historic horse racing machines, Wyoming’s largest TV wall and dining options. Opening is planned for spring 2027, creating 150-plus jobs and boosting local tax revenue from Colorado and Wyoming bettors.
