The NYC Department of Design and Construction has selected Skanska USA Building and Claire Weisz Architects for the $163 million East Side Greenway 14th Street Connector project. The new wider path will improve pedestrian and bike access along the FDR Drive, replacing the narrow pinch point. Construction begins in early 2028 using faster design-build delivery.
