Senior managers in construction don’t have the awareness, knowledge or organisational support needed to manage silica dust, according to a new study funded through the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)’s Paul Dockerill Award.The discovery has led to the launch of a potentially life-saving toolkit for anyone working on a construction project to be aware of the dangers posed by silica dust.
