A $495 million Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) project is transforming a 10-mi. section of Interstate 45 between Farm-to-Market 1764 and north of the Galveston Causeway Bridge, with Williams Brothers Construction advancing work on new lanes, interchanges, bridges and flood-protection infrastructure.
