Hi everyone! I’m not sure if this is the current place to ask this question but here it is: Can i reduce or cut this 12 inch beam down to 6 inches ? What’s the easiest way to work around it, the replacement patio door is 6 inches taller(steel door current is vinyl) I’ve attached the original house plans(1964)!
