Acrisure London Wholesale expands into construction market with Tom Hester appointment

Acrisure London Wholesale, the London-based wholesale division of global fintech firm Acrisure, has expanded into the construction market with the appointment of Tom Hester as Senior Vice President (SVP), Head of Construction. In his new role, Hester will lead a newly launched specialist team, overseeing the build-out and strategic development of the firm’s construction offering. He will report to Tom Quy, Managing Director at Acrisure London Wholesale. He brings more than two decades of insurance industry experience and extensive construction market expertise, which he will leverage to help Acrisure establish a strong presence in the sector. Hester joins Acrisure London Wholesale from Lockton, where he served as Partner and Head of International Construction since 2018. Prior to that, he was Head of Builders’ Risk, North America at Alesco (Arthur J. Gallagher), and spent over a decade within the International Construction team at JLT Specialty. Hester said, “I’m happy to be joining Acrisure London Wholesale to build a specialist construction business solution that delivers real value to our clients and trading partners.
