Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Technology Launches in Fall 2026 SPC Marketing | 3/25/2026 In response to Tampa Bay’s rapid growth and development, St. Petersburg College has launched a new Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Technology to meet the area’s rising workforce demands. The Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Technology is designed to prepare graduates for leadership roles in the construction field, including project managers, superintendents, field engineers, cost estimators and infrastructure technicians. Developed in collaboration with local industry leaders, the degree aligns closely with current workforce needs across Tampa Bay. Thomas R. Burket “This new program represents a critical step forward in addressing both current and future workforce demands in the construction industry,” said Thomas R. Burket, President of PJ Callaghan Construction and chair of SPC’s Building Arts Advisory Committee. “It reflects a forward-thinking approach to closing the skills gap while investing in the long-term sustainability and innovation of our industry.
