Hi guys. I’m 21 and coming into some land passed down by my dad. It’s plotted farm land, but I have a dream to turn it into a livable homestead. There’s no builds on the land. I’ve had recommendations of getting a single or double wide just to get something out there but it’s not really what I want. I’ll do it if it’s the cost of the dream though… does anyone here have experience with getting a home built or moving a home? Are modular homes a scam? I’m never going to sell the house or the lan...
