Change of work position into construction

I currently work at Safelite as an auto glass tech. I enjoy the job and pay overall but the summers in Arizona are so hot. I recently was offered an under the counter position getting into blinds. In a year I get my own truck and would become a 1099 employee. I would be making really good money but I’m scared to essentially own my own business. Any suggestions or advice? I’m leaning more into blinds because it’s fast pace and doesn’t kill your body as much as auto glass. It’s also i side away...
