I'm recently new to the sub side of construction. I started working for a sheet metal/roofing company in SoCal about a years ago, and I'm somewhat familiar with submittals and shop drawings. We have a project with specs that call for shop drawings on the submittals section. Is that a typical thing to provide at all? Can I get away with just providing manufacturer's standard details?
