Do you buy your own tools?

About this article

I got hired 7 years ago to be shop helper. I bought tools as time went on, so I could help with more skilled tasks. I’m now doing finished cabinetry and millworking with my own arsenal. I hear different opinions from coworkers about who’s responsible for providing what tooling, for example hand tools are employees responsibility vs power tools should be provided by company. What do y’all think? submitted by /u/Mickeytheskater333 [link] [comments]
