Home Derpot tells me the in hose lint filter is not going to work to filter excess lint from dryer filter (old dryer circa 1990). Saying it is for condos to prevent lint back flow into dryer in a unit. Why cant i just install it the other way around and pick up any lint making it past the dryer?
