For background info, I have a degree in environmental science and have not worked in construction before. I recently got an offer for a project engineer intern role at a geotechnical contracting company that does slurry walls, PRBs, etc. on large sites. The scope of the role is going to include helping out with proposals, submittals, estimates and doing QC work at sites.
