You can read about the process here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furfurylated_wood , basically the process uses furfuryl alcohol to treat wood to make it harder and more rot-resistant. I’m always on the lookout for durable exterior products, so I ordered some samples from the manufacturer. It seems pretty nice. It’s recommended for siding and decking. Has anyone used this product? The question mark is always how well it lasts in the real world, and how gracefully it ages. Thanks.
