Laid off from turnaround scaffold job

About this article

I just started working overnights for turnaround with a certain oil company and they let me and about five other guys go a week into it. Said it’s going slow and they don’t need everyone. I was just coming from being laid off from a residential siding job, and I finally had my schedule flipped and used to working 60 hour weeks. I’m about to give up. There’s nothing left for me to care about. This country is fucked and so is most everyone in it. submitted by /u/Lydian04 [link] [comments]
