A slim duct system seemed like the way to go. But it appears that Fujitsu now pairs their slim duct units Only with multi split outdoor units. And that Mitsubishi does not pair any with their cold weather outdoor units. If it was just me, I would leave the doors open enough to get through the winter and forgo air conditioning.
