this might be a shot into the void but here goes I'm working on a cat 248 skid steer with a perkins 704-30T engine. the engine needed an injection pump and injectors but now it's running away. I've inspected the governor and related linkages and everything is in order. I got a hold of a workshop manual and found a procedure for setting the fuel rack tension in relation to the governor linkage but can't find the "special" tool that's required to do this. anyone or there have any experience wit...
