I’m in a pretty frustrating position and could use some honest feedback. I am a US citizen and completed my PhD in construction engineering in 2025 at a US university, but my bachelor's is from the Middle East. My work involved things like project planning, scheduling, cost, and safety, and I also have teaching experience from grad school. The problem is, I don’t want to stay in academia.
