Sealing slab cracks against radon taos | Posted in General Questions on March 22, 2026 03:28pm My house is slab on grade, membrane underneath. We have been monitoring radon and it varies from .13 to 8.5 pCl/L, depending on whether the windows are open, cracked or closed. There are 0nly 3 major cracks in the slab and I want to seal them against radon and soil gasses. It is a SIPs shell, and air sealing was careful. The neighbor’s house tested at 40 pCl/L, and it has many major cracks and probably no membrane. We live in Taos, NM, and radon is plentiful, alas.
