working construction in summer heat, how much water do you drink per shift

Working outside 6am to 3pm in heat, that's already hitting 85 degrees by 9am. We have water coolers on site but I'm curious how much people actually drink vs what you should drink. I bring 64oz bottle and refill it once during shift so probably 100oz total. I still get headaches by end of day and pee is dark yellow which safety guy said means not enough, but drinking more just means more bathroom breaks which slows down work.
