Associate Project Manager - Document Control
CBRE is hiring an Associate Project Manager - Document Control Coordinator in Columbus, OH. The role involves supporting documentation efforts for large data center construction projects and requires relevant experience and skills in document management.
The Associate Project Manager - Document Control Coordinator at CBRE supports a technology client in implementing standards and procedures for building documentation related to large data center infrastructure construction projects. This hybrid role requires onsite presence 3 times a week in Columbus/New Albany, OH.
What You'll Do
- Support Regional Document Control Program Manager with various tasks related to documentation efforts.
- Assist internal teams and vendors with documentation requests throughout the building life cycle.
- Lead documentation closeout meetings with vendors, client project managers, and other project subject matter experts.
- Analyze turnover documentation and prepare it for uploading into the client’s EDMS System.
- Audit document metadata for completeness and perform updates as needed before uploading.
- Set up project folders and procedures for use during construction and operation.
- Review construction turnover documentation and route it to the appropriate entities for technical review.
- Maintain documentation with the client’s EDMS and physical library.
- Use and/or create custom formulas/functions in Excel or Google Sheets.

What You'll Need
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools for handling large data sets.
- Ability to analyze and present critical project data and build dashboards using Data Studio, Tableau, or equivalent programs.
- Strong experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS/DMS).
- Understanding of construction documents.
- Document Control/Document Management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other construction CAD systems (BIM 360) is a plus.
- Electrical experience is a plus.
- Java or Google App scripting knowledge is a plus.
