Millennium Builders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee day-to-day field operations in Torrington, CT. This role is ideal for a self-driven individual who takes ownership of the jobsite, communicates clearly, and understands the full construction process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Manage daily on-site construction activities and coordinate all trades
Interpret and execute project plans and specifications accurately
Implement and enforce safety protocols across all trades and site activities
Engage crews daily and clearly communicate scope, schedule, and expectations
Plan, forecast, and communicate labor, material, and equipment needs
Optimize progress with the given workforce while maintaining quality and safety
Manage site logistics and coordinate daily work schedules
Oversee material procurement and delivery coordination
Provide budget oversight, track job costs, and support cost control efforts
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve field issues and conflicts proactively
Track and validate project changes, including T&M work
Work closely with the Project Manager to generate change order proposals
Maintain detailed as-built drawing sets reflecting field changes
Complete and submit accurate, detailed daily reports documenting progress, manpower, and site conditions

Qualifications

Fundamental understanding of the construction process and sequencing
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent communication skills with crews, subcontractors, and project teams
Proven ability to manage schedules, logistics, and multiple priorities
Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Experience with budget awareness, material tracking, and field documentation
