Project Manager - Commercial & Federal Construction

Job Title Project Manager Job Post Summary The Project Manager is responsible for leading commercial and federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex construction projects while coordinating with clients, design teams, and field personnel. Job Roles and Responsibilities • Manage the full project lifecycle from preconstruction planning through project closeout. • Oversee daily site operations, subcontractor performance, and job site safety. • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, billing, and cost controls. • Ensure compliance with contracts, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. • Review submittals, manage RFIs, and process change orders. • Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, and engineering teams. • Conduct jobsite meetings and provide field leadership to ensure project execution. • Support procurement processes and value engineering initiatives. • Monitor project progress and resolve issues to maintain timelines and budgets. • Coordinate and support projects across multiple locations as required. Qualifications and Certifications • 5 or more years of experience in project management or superintendent roles within commercial construction. • Experience managing ground up construction, renovations, and MEP scopes. • Strong knowledge of construction methods, project lifecycle, and contract administration. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. • Proven experience managing subcontractors and field teams. • Proficiency in project management and scheduling software. • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. • Willingness to travel for project assignments. • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
