Jordan Thomas, 25, was working for Kokosing Construction in the area of I-70 and state Route 315 near downtown in the early morning hours of Feb. 28. The Columbus Division of Police said a maroon Toyota sedan was traveling west on I-70 through a construction zone when the driver of the vehicle hit Thomas and a generator. Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota did not stop. Kokosing Construction is offering a $100,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the driver. The construction company previously issued a statement expressing its grief over Thomas’ death.
