FE thinking of a minor career shift

About this article

I have been considering trying to switch to an estimator or pre construction position. For context I have a bachelors degree in construction engineering and have been an FE going on 2 years. But the 4:30am mornings and being gone 12 hours a day is already starting to burn me out. I can’t see myself doing this for the next 40 years. Is this a feasible transition? Also is there any chance of a hybrid or remote position? submitted by /u/FunEnvironmental5774 [link] [comments]
