Fifth annual Build X Conference held at Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Women in the construction industry of Wisconsin hosted its fifth annual Build X Conference on Thursday at the Monona Terrace Convention Center. The conference highlights women as a visible and vital component of the construction industry. The conference also offered networking opportunities, scholarships and sessions focused on leadership growth. Ronda Conger and Jackie Schneider served as keynote speakers at the event. “There are some young women that really want to make sure we’re mentoring them,” Linda Heipp, a business development manager said. “Showing them where they can work and they’re going to be okay in a really safe space with other women that they can grab on to and be successful because we want them in this industry.” Tickets for the conference were sold out.
