Help with undercarriage removal

Reddit - Heavy Equipment 1 min read

About this article

Have a cat 259d3 that’s getting a new drive motor only I cannot get the undercarriage to move at all. Trying to avoid removing the whole axle but I’ve tried everything at my disposal aside from cutting. Tried a short ram on the backside, heat, chain hoist…still won’t budge. I’ve done this job a few dozen times and have never seen this happen. Any ideas? submitted by /u/Mooseknkl51 [link] [comments]
