Imperial framing layout

About this article

I’m a residential framer in Australia (15 years doing cut-on-site timber framing). I’ve built a free layout tool that generates stud positions and cutting lists. It works well in metric, but I’ve just added imperial inputs and I’ve never actually framed in feet/inches before. For those of you framing in imperial, does anything look unnatural or just flat out wrong? I’ve attached a few screenshots of imperial plans.
