I’m replacing the old deck on my house and adding a roof that will tie into the existing roof (blind valley/California gable). My understanding is that if my beam for the deck roof is the same elevation as the house top plate, and the heel of the new truss matches the height of the heel of the existing trusses my facial should match up.
