My MIL needs about 60' of rail to support her aging knees and hips as she descends the gradual steps to her garden. There's a 50' run, then another 10'. Does not need to be gorgeous, just sturdy. I got a quote for a pipe style construction- and they shot out a number that's about twice what we have, but I'm sure it's worth every penny.
